RotoPlay's Racing Challenge is a unique and exciting game to play for the fantasy racing season. Racing Challenge is a contest in which your job is to draft one NASCAR driver from each of the groups presented, plus your "Lucky 13th" driver. Each of the drivers you select will accumulate RotoPlay points during the contest. Your Lucky 13th driver will accumulate points on the same scale as your other 12 drivers. The significance of your Lucky 13th driver is that he can be the same as one of your other 12 drivers, or a 13th different driver. Your goal is to utilize your fantasy GM skills to build a team that accumulates more points than your competitors. Score the most RotoPlay points during the contest and you'll win the Grand Prize of $1,000! Great prizes are also awarded to those who finish in the Top 15, as well as those who are leading the contest after races 2 and up!
NOTE: Depending on the NASCAR schedule, each contest will include anywhere from 5-12 races. The number of races for each contest will be indicated on the driver selection page.
NOTE: Only the scheduled races will count in the scoring of each contest. Any race that is postponed and rescheduled after the Friday before the first race of the next scheduled contest will be eliminated from the scoring.

Your Team
Prior to 12:00 PM EST on the day a new contest starts, you must select a driver from each of the groups presented in order to complete your entry. You may change your selections at any time up until the entry deadline by visiting the "My Locker" section of the site.
Injury Protection
To protect against injuries, your lowest scoring driver will be dropped from your total score. The score dropped will be the lowest total score for the entire contest, not each individual week's lowest total score.
Scoring System
Scoring will be updated after each race. Final results will be posted on the day after the contest ends. The chart below outlines how you earn points.
Points Per Race
- 1st = 50 Points
- 2nd = 40 Points
- 3rd = 35 Points
- 4th = 32 Points
- 5th = 30 Points
- 6th = 28 Points
- 7th = 26 Points
- 8th = 24 Points
- 9th = 22 Points
- 10th = 20 Points
- 11-15th = 15 Points
- 16-20th = 10 Points
- 21-25th = 7 Points
- 26-30th = 5 Points
- 31-35th = 3 Points
- 36-Last = 1 Point
Pole Points Per Race
- 1st = 12 Points
- 2nd = 9 Points
- 3rd = 8 Points
- 4th = 7 Points
- 5th = 6 Points
- 6th = 5 Points
- 7th = 4 Points
- 8th = 3 Points
- 9th = 2 Points
- 10th = 1 Point
NOTE: Pole points are not awarded for the first scheduled race of each contest.

Ties
If one or more participants tie for a spot in the Top 15, the following tiebreakers below will be used to determine who places higher:
- Participant who has the most overall wins from all of the drivers on their roster
- If a tie still exists, participant who has the most 2nd place finishes from all of the drivers on their roster
- If a tie still exists, participant who has the most 3rd place finishes from all of the drivers on their roster
- If a tie still exists, participant who has the most 4th place finishes from all of the drivers on their roster
- If a tie still exists, participant who has the most 5th place finishes from all of the drivers on their roster
- If a tie still exists, the prize money will be added together and split equally
NOTE: The maximum number of total entries accepted for each contest is 500, so you're guaranteed to never be competing against more than 500 entries per contest.
NOTE: Mailed-in entries are accepted for this contest, which starts on a Sunday. They must be postmarked and mailed by the Friday before the contest starts, and reach our office no later than the first Wednesday after the contest starts. The total number of entries in this contest becomes official on the first Thursday after the contest starts.
