RotoPlay's Football Bracket Mania is a unique and exciting game to play for the fantasy football season. Bracket Mania is a five (5) week contest that works exactly like an NCAA basketball bracket pool. For each contest we'll assign 64 NFL players to the field, and seed them based on their fantasy value. Your job is to predict the bracket results, in its entirety, before the entry deadline. Each week of the contest represents a separate round. The NFL player who scores the most RotoPlay points in his weekly match-up advances on to the next round.
For example, in round 1, if #1 seed Michael Vick is matched up against #16 seed Tai Streets, and Vick outscores Streets 30 to 25, Vick advances on to round 2 and will face the winner of the #8 and #9 seed match-up.
Each round of the contest represents one week of the NFL season, with the exception of the final four. For scheduling purposes, the final four and championship game will be played together in week five (last week) of the contest.
For example, the final four includes Priest Holmes vs. Michael Vick in one semi-final match, and LaDainian Tomlinson vs. Clinton Portis in the other semi-final match. If Holmes outscores Vick 35 to 30, and Tomlinson outscores Portis 25 to 20, Holmes and Tomlinson advance to the championship game. Holmes is then declared the championship winner by outscoring Tomlinson 35 to 25.
NOTE: In the example above, even though Vick outscored Tomlinson, he would not advance to the championship game because he lost his semi-final match with Holmes.
Score the most Bracket Mania points during the five-week contest and you'll win the Grand Prize of $1,000! Great prizes are also awarded to those who finish in the Top 15!

Your Team
Prior to 1:00 PM EST on the Sunday morning of a new contest, you must predict your bracket, in its entirety, in order to complete your entry. You may change your selections at any time up until the entry deadline by visiting the "My Locker" section of the site.
NOTE: If a player gets injured BEFORE the entry deadline, it is your sole responsibility to change your selections prior to the entry deadline. Once the entry deadline has passed, you may NOT change any of your selections for the remainder of the contest. If a player gets injured during any part of the contest and does not play in that week's game, he will receive zero points for that week. In the rare case that two players matched-up against one another don't play, the tiebreaker system described below will be used to determine which player advances.
NOTE: NFL players whose teams have a bye during any week of this five-week contest are not participating in the contest.
Scoring System
Scoring will be updated weekly. Final results will be posted on the Tuesday after the contest ends. The chart below outlines how you earn points.
Offensive Players
- Each passing touchdown = 4 Points
- Each rushing touchdown = 6 Points
- Each receiving touchdown = 6 Points
- Each pass completion = 1 Point
- Each rushing carry = 1 Point
- Each reception = 3 Points
- Passing yards divided by 25 (example: 250 yards passing / 25 = 10 Points)
- Rushing yards divided by 10 (example: 85 yards rushing / 10 = 8.5 Points)
- Receiving yards divided by 10 (example: 125 yards receiving / 10 = 12.5 Points)
- Each passing two-point conversion = 2 Points
- Each rushing two-point conversion = 2 Points
- Each receiving two-point conversion = 2 Points
- Bonus points for 300 or more yards passing = 5 Points
- Bonus points for 100 or more yards rushing = 5 Points
- Bonus points for 100 or more yards receiving = 15 Points
Tiebreakers
If two players tie with the same amount of points in their match-up, the following tiebreakers below will be used to determine who advances on to the next round:
- Player's team who scores the most points
- If a tie still exists, player's team who holds their opponent to the least amount of points
- If a tie still exists, player's team who has the best record after those days games
- If a tie still exists, a random drawing will determine which player advances on to the next round
For example, if Michael Vick and Peyton Manning tie in their match-up, the first tiebreaker would default to see who scored the most points between the Falcons and the Colts. If the Falcons scored more points than the Colts, Vick would advance on to the next round.

- 3rd Round: 4 Points for each correct prediction

- 5th Round: 15 Points for each correct prediction
- Championship Winner: 20 Points for the correct prediction
