RotoPlay's 8-Team Dash for Cash is a unique and exciting game to play during the men's college basketball tournament. 8-Team Dash for Cash is a contest in which your job is to select any eight (8) teams in the tournament, plus your "Wildcard Team" and National Championship Game score prediction. Each of the teams you select will accumulate RotoPlay points during the contest. Your Wildcard Team will accumulate points on the same scale as your other 8 teams. The significance of your Wildcard Team is that it can be the same as one of your other 8 teams, or a 9th different team. Your goal is to utilize your fantasy GM skills to build a team that accumulates more points than your competitors. Score the most RotoPlay points during the contest and you'll win the Grand Prize of $1,500! Great prizes are also awarded to those who finish in the Top 25!

Your Team
Prior to 12:00 PM EST on Thursday, March 20th, you must select eight (8) teams, one (1) wildcard team and predict the total points scored in the National Championship game in order to complete your entry. You may change your selections at any time up until the entry deadline by visiting the "My Locker" section of the site.
Scoring System
Scoring will be updated daily. Final results will be posted on Tuesday, April 8th. The chart below outlines how you earn points.
NOTE: The play-in game to decide the 64th team does not count.
Team Scoring
Each win is worth the following points per round:
- Round 1 Win = Seed # times 3 Points
- Round 2 Win = Seed # times 5 Points
- Round 3 Win = Seed # times 8 Points
- Round 4 Win = Seed # times 12 Points
- Round 5 Win = Seed # times 16 Points
- Round 6 Win = Seed # times 20 Points
Bonus Points
- All four Final 4 teams on your roster = 30 Points
- Both finalists on your roster = 20 Points
- Point Differential = 1 Point for each point a team wins by
Point Differential example: If Gonzaga wins their Round 1 game by a score of 80-70, 10 bonus points will be added to their Round 1 total.

Ties
If one or more participants tie for a spot in the Top 25, the following tiebreaker below will be used to determine who places higher:
- Participant whose predicted total points scored in the National Championship Game is closest to the actual total points scored
- If a tie still exists, the prize money will be added together and split equally
NOTE: The maximum number of total entries accepted for this contest is 1,000, so you're guaranteed not to be competing against more than 1,000 entries.
