RotoPlay's College Football Challenge is a unique and exciting game to play for the fantasy college football season. College Football Challenge is a four (4) or five (5) week contest in which your job is to draft one college team from each of the groups presented. Each of the teams you select will accumulate RotoPlay points during the contest. Your goal is to utilize your fantasy GM skills to build a team that accumulates more points than your competitors. Score the most RotoPlay points during the contest and you'll win the Grand Prize of $1,000! Great prizes are also awarded to those who finish in the Top 10!

Your Team
Prior to 11:00 AM EST on the Saturday morning of a new contest, you must select a team from each of the groups presented in order to complete your entry. You may change your selections at any time up until the entry deadline by visiting the "My Locker" section of the site.
NOTE: The teams in each separate group play the same number of games during the contest. Their total cumulative points will count in the contest. We WILL NOT average their points by the number of games they play. While all teams in each group play the same number of games, RotoPlay is not responsible for any schedule changes made by the NCAA or TV Networks.
Contest Dates for 2006 Season:
Contest #1: 09/02 - 09/30 (5 weeks)
Contest #2: 10/07 - 10/28 (4 weeks)
Contest #3: 11/04 - 11/25 (4 weeks)
Any games played outside of the contest dates listed above WILL NOT count in the scoring.
Lowest Score Dropped
Your single lowest scoring teams score will be dropped from your total score. The score dropped will be the lowest total score for the entire contest period, not each individual week's lowest total score.
Scoring System
Scoring will be updated weekly. Final results will be posted on the Sunday after the contest ends. The chart below outlines how you earn points.
Team Offense
- Each team win = 10 Points
- Each point scored = 1 Point
- Passing yards divided by 25 (example: 250 yards passing / 25 = 10 Points)
- Rushing yards divided by 10 (example: 85 yards rushing / 10 = 8.5 Points)
Team Defense
- Zero team points allowed = 50 Points
- 2-9 team points allowed = 25 Points
- 10-20 team points allowed = 15 Points
- 21-27 team points allowed = 10 Points
- 28+ team points allowed = Zero Points

Ties
If one or more participants tie for a spot in the Top 10, the prize money will be added together and split equally.
NOTE: Mailed-in entries are accepted for this contest, which starts on a Saturday. They must be postmarked and mailed by the Friday before the contest starts, and reach our office no later than the first Tuesday after the contest starts. The total number of entries in this contest becomes official on the first Tuesday after the contest starts.
