RotoPlay's Basketball Playoff Challenge is a unique and exciting game to play during the NBA playoffs. Your job is to draft one NBA player from each of the groups presented. Each of the players you select will accumulate RotoPlay points during the contest. You must also select the winning teams for each round of the playoffs, with RotoPlay points awarded for each winning team you correctly select. Your goal is to utilize your fantasy GM skills to build a team that accumulates more points than your competitors. Score the most RotoPlay points during the contest and you'll win the guaranteed Grand Prize of $600! Great prizes may also be awarded to those who finish in the Top 6 so see the prize scale below for details!

Prior to 12:00 PM EST (noon) on Saturday, April 19th, you must select a player and team from each of the groups presented in order to complete your entry. You may change your selections at any time up until the entry deadline by visiting the "My Locker" section of the site.


 
Scoring will be updated daily. Final results will be posted on the day after the contest ends. The chart below outlines how you earn points.


 
Eastern and Western Conference Round 1 Winners = 15 Points each
Eastern and Western Conference Round 2 Winners = 25 Points each
Eastern Conference Champion = 40 Points
Western Conference Champion = 40 Points
NBA Champion = 60 Points


 
Each point scored = 1 Point
Each assist = 1 Point
Each offensive rebound = 2 Points
Each defensive rebound = 1 Point
Each steal = 3 Points
Each blocked shot = 3 Points
Each 3-point field goal = 1 Point


 

Grand Prize:    $600 (Guaranteed regardless of how many team entries)
2nd Place:       $200 (Awarded once 55+ teams are entered into the contest)
3rd Place:        $100 (Awarded once 65+ teams are entered into the contest)
4th Place:        $50 (Awarded once 70+ teams are entered into the contest)
5th-6th Place:  $25 (Awarded once 75+ teams are entered into the contest)


Ties : If one or more participants tie for a spot in the Top 6, the prize money will be added together and split equally.


NOTE : The maximum number of total entries accepted for this contest is 250, so you're guaranteed not to be competing against more than 250 entries in the contest.
