It's that time of year again…..Baseball Playoffs have arrived! There's no better way to celebrate than with Rotoplay's Baseball Playoff Contest. How do you play? You draft one MLB player from each of the 16 groups presented. Each of the players you select will accumulate RotoPlay points during the contest. You must also select the winning team for each playoff series including the World Series, with RotoPlay points awarded for each winning team you select. Your goal is to utilize your fantasy GM skills to build a team that accumulates more points than your competitors. Score the most RotoPlay points during the contest and you'll win the Grand Prize of $1,500! With a total prize pool of $2,500, Great prizes are also awarded to those who finish in the Top 10!
NOTE: This contest will include all rounds of the baseball playoffs, including the World Series.

Your Team
Prior to 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday, October 3rd, you must select a player and team from each of the groups presented in order to complete your entry. You may change your selections at any time up until the entry deadline by visiting the "My Locker" section of the site.

Please be sure to wait until the Playoff berths are decided before submitting your final entry. There are no alternates, and you're responsible for all players selected.
Injury Protection
To protect against injuries, your lowest scoring hitter and lowest scoring pitcher will be dropped from your total score. The scores dropped will be the lowest total scores in the entire contest, not each individual week's lowest total scores.
Scoring System
Scoring will be updated daily. Final results will be posted on the day after the contest ends. The chart below outlines how you earn points.
Winning Teams
- AL Round 1 Winners = 20 Points each
- NL Round 1 Winners = 20 Points each
- ALCS Winner = 30 Points
- NLCS Winner = 30 Points
- World Series Winner = 50 Points
Hitters
- Each single = 1 Point
- Each double = 2 Points
- Each triple = 5 Points
- Each HR = 6 Points
- Each RBI = 3 Points
- Each run scored = 3 Points
- Each stolen base = 5 Points
- Each walk = 1 Point
Pitchers
- Each win = 20 Points
- Each save = 15 Points
- Each inning pitched = 1 Point
- Each strike out = 1 Point
- Each complete game = 7 Points
NOTE: Pitchers do not earn hitting points and hitters do not earn pitching points.

If one or more participants tie for a spot in the Top 10, the prize money will be added together and split equally.
NOTE: While we prefer you enter online, both faxed and mailed-in entries are accepted for this contest. Please go to the 'contact us' page for our contact information. Faxed entries must arrive by Wednesday October 1st at 1pm. Mailed-in entries must be postmarked and mailed by Monday, September 29th, and reach our office no later than Thursday, October 2nd. The total number of entries in this contest becomes official on Thursday, October 2nd.
