RotoPlay's Baseball Bonanza Bonus is a unique and exciting game to play for the fantasy baseball season. The game works exactly like a numbered style lottery, except players are used instead of numbers. For each contest we'll select 54 MLB players to participate in our lottery style game. You select the six players who you feel will be the top scoring performers for the contest, based on the RotoPlay scoring system. Any participant who correctly selects the top 6 players, in order, wins the Grand Prize of $100,000! *
Great prizes are also awarded for correctly selecting 4, 5, or 6 (in any order) of the players who finish among the top six for each contest.
Cost
- FREE. Allows you to submit one (1) entry per contest the entire MLB season
NOTE - We'll offer three contests each week throughout the regular season (every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday).
Your Team
Prior to the 1:00 PM EST deadline of each days contest, you must select any six (6) MLB players in order to complete your entry. You may change your picks at any time up until the deadline by visiting the "My Locker" section of the site. Failure to make your selections prior to the deadline will result in zero points for that days contest.
NOTE: The six players you select for each contest accumulate points towards your monthly point total. Even if you don't win one of our daily prizes, you can still win one of the monthly prizes, which are awarded six separate times for contests played in April, May, June, July, August and September.
Scoring System
Final results will be posted the day after each contest. The chart below outlines how you earn points.
Hitters
- Each single = 1 Point
- Each double = 2 Points
- Each triple = 5 Points
- Each HR = 6 Points
- Each RBI = 3 Points
- Each run scored = 3 Points
- Each stolen base = 5 Points
- Each walk = 1 Point
In the event of a double-header, the second game is the official game to be scored.
Tiebreakers
If one or more MLB players tie for the same amount of RotoPlay points in a contest, the following tiebreakers below will be used to determine who places higher:
- Player's team who scores the most runs
- If a tie still exists, player's team who holds their opponent to the least amount of runs
- If a tie still exists, player's team who has the best record after those days games
- If a tie still exists, a random drawing will determine which player places higher
For example, if Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds tie for highest RotoPlay point total in a contest, the first tiebreaker would default to see who scored the most runs between the Orioles and the Giants. If the Orioles scored more runs then the Giants, Sosa would take first place and Bonds would take second place.

Rules:
- $100,000 is payable in monthly installments over 25 years.
- Only one entry per member, per household. Any person(s) found guilty of cheating or circumventing the rules will be disqualified and forfeit any and all monies won.
- RotoPlay Management reserves the right to reject or disqualify current and future entries of any person(s) they think are breaking the rules set forth in the RotoPlay website.
- In the event 3 or more MLB games are postponed in a day, the bonus money prizes become void for that day.
